Merriman’s Done
Here’s a surprise: Shawn Merriman’s out for the season.
He should have had surgery several weeks ago, but instead, he foolishly decided to play through the pain and likely worsened the damage to his knee. For his sake and the Charger’s sake, lets hope he recover’s quickly and completely from surgery.

The NFL was shaken by the tragic news that Bengals WR Chris Henry had passed away from injuries suffered from an accident.This is the news I saw this morning.
Henry’s career numbers will stand at 119 receptions for 1826 yards with 15.3 yards per catch average and 21 TDs. He is survived by his fiancée and the three children that they were raising.
