About a week after legally changing his name from Chad Javon Johnson to Chad Javon Ocho Cinco, the Bengals have announced that they have started “the process of listing the former Chad Johnson as Chad Ocho Cinco for all club business, per the legal change of his surname effected in Florida. The list of appropriate changes will include Ocho Cinco wearing his new surname on the back of his jersey for Sunday’s season opener at Baltimore.”
I still think it’s all very funny…

Chad Johnson Ocho Cinco is crazy, but hilarious. He’s been pushing for people to call him “Ocho Cinco” for a few years now, so why not legally change his last name to it? Now he can have it on his jersey (“maybe”, according to ESPN) and his Wikipedia entry is already Ochofied.
I think it’s brilliant. He’s always wanting to do the “next best thing”, so this fits right in with that. I still think he’s an idiot, but this move had me laughing out loud, so that’s gotta count for something.
